Joe D. Yoke, 81, of Hot Springs Village passed away on December 30, 2015 while at home with family. Joe was born September 3, 1934 in Newton, Kansas to the late Dewey Yoke and Gladys Minkler.
Joe’s life long profession was Director of Baptist Association for Scouting; he was a member of the Rotary International Men’s Organization, Disaster Relief Team, Awana Teacher, and he faithfully ministered to men in jail.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Yoke, his daughter Tami Dixon-LaRue and husband Matthew, 4 siblings Don, Ken, David and Cheryl, and 3 grandchildren: Eddy, Joe and Makayla Dixon.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Balboa Baptist Church in Hot Springs Village.
